Clouds

Some heavy clouds threatening some kind of moisture to fall. We figured there was snow not too far away on this particular day as it was freezing outside even though the sun was shining. Taken through the car window, the quality is not the best. However, I can appreciate the colour values on display.

Bath Time

Just a seagull having a paddle, but there is a lot more if I look closely.

The gull is of course dominant & he is nearly in that 1/3 location which makes for an interesting photo. The diagonal line of the fountain edge and the gull's shadow brings him more into that 1/3 position.

What I really like though are the interesting lines created by the combination of ripples and reflections in the water. They are really subtle, but so interesting & so inspiring for my textile work.

Red

I like the dominant line in this one, curved & red, taking the eye up & around, just like the ride would take it's passengers.

A Fence

Fences vary greatly. This is the one between the water & the road, between Jones Bay Wharf & Pyrmont Point Park.

I like the position of focal point in this one, as well as the interesting lines in the fence that lead to it.

This raindrop on my rose bush shows dominance in colour. Amazing how it dios that.
